Calculating MRR involves a surprising number of nuanced decisions. Turboboost's goal is to allow you to select which factors go into calculating your MRR.

Many of the other tools to calculate MRR suffer from offering only one choice which might not be right for your business.

For instance, Stripe's calculation of MRR includes multi-year discounts, but it ignores one-time discounts. Also, Stripe ignores Credit Memos, which may further reduce effective MRR.

Other third party solutions ignore refunds, and struggle with canceled contracts. So a customer who cancels mid-term before paying or has their credit card refunded for a period, might show full revenue when in fact, no revenue was generated.
